Abstract: Atlas – is an integrated scientific summary of the results of application of the paleobasins reconstruction technology and forecasting their oil and gas bearing capacity. Atlas contains standardized digital geologic models for various ages of the Proterozoic and Phanerozoic erotems covering the whole territory of the Russian Federation, restored history of the sequences development and estimated prospects of their oil and gas bearing capacity. The reconstructions of the geologic structure, development history and oil and gas bearing capacity of geologic sequences of various ages are performed based on a designated technology allowing to discover the key parameters influencing the specific features of origination and distribution of oil and gas in a sedimentary section non only within the defined oil and gas bearing basins, but also in their junction zones, including ancient sequences.

Title: Selected works (collectible edition) Bulgakov M.A.

Authors: M.A. Bulgakov

Abstract: Personality of Mikhail Afanasievich Bulgakov is complex and prominent, ambivalent and genius, up-to-date and broad. After a deep breath, we dive into the writer’s creative work, find answers to questions, laugh heartily, recognize friends, in the characters’ eyes, as in a mirror, find our own reflection. Leaving the vortex of the events behind, one is already a new person, as if having lived several lives and died several deaths…
The history of Nedra Publishers is inextricably connected with the literary art of Mikhail Afanasievich Bulgakov. In the winter of 1924, his story “Diavoliada” was published for the first time in the 4th issue of the literary almanac “Nedra”, and one year later it was published as a separate edition. The writer saw his last name on a book cover for the first time.
The edition comprises the early works of M.A. Bulgakov – “Diavoliada” (1923), “Fatal eggs” (1924), “№13. – The House of Elpit-Rabkommuna” (1922), “Notes of a young doctor” (1925), “Morphine” (1926), “I killed” (1926).
The edition has preserved the author’s spelling and punctuation.

“Belaya Gvardia” (The White Guard) is the first novel by Mikhail Bulgakov that narrates about events during the Civil War. To a great extent the work is autobiographic – the story being told happened in those years with close relatives, friends and acquaintances of the author’s family.
Requiem for the Russian intellectual class – that is how the main idea and pain showing through the novel’s pages can be described. The plot of the story unwinds in 1918 when the Germans who had occupied the Ukraine left the City and their place was taken by Petlura’s troops…
The novel was first published in 1927-1929 in France.

Title: Oil and gas bearing potential of Jurassic sediments in the Barents Sea basin

Authors: А.А. Суслова

Abstract: Detailed study of the continental shelf of the Russian Federation is a crucial strategic work area for the purposes of developing the hydrocarbon resource base. The Barents Sea basin is one of the largest oil and gas bearing basins of Russia with a proven productivity, the Jurassic sediments comprise the main deposits. The unique Stockman and large Ledovoye and Ludlovskoye gas fields were discovered in the Jurassic sediments of the Russian part of the Barents Sea. The Jurassic sand reservoirs are also productive in the Norwegian sector where the gas field Snohvit and oil and gas fields Havis and Skrugard were discovered. In 2013 Norwegian geologists made a new oil discovery in the lower-middle Jurassic reservoirs of the Hup-Maud trough in the northern Norwegian shelf.

Title: Development of hydrogen energy sector in Russia

Authors: V.M. Zaychenko, R.L. Isiemin, A.A. Cherniavsky, A.I. Tsyplakov

Abstract: The book estimates development prospects for the hydrogen energy sector in Russia. It reviews the existing technologies of hydrogen production and storage, as well as technologies for the hydrogen-based electric power generation. The new biomass thermal processing technology is explained. Consideration is given to the possibility of applying the approaches with regard to the utilization of associated petroleum gas and gas from marginal fields to the solution of problems facing the hydrogen energy sector in our country. The book presents efficiency evaluation results for the hydrogen production technology by means of electrolysis with the combined use of solar and wind power stations, and estimate calculation of the basic criteria for the financial and economic feasibility of a power generation facility using renewable energy resources with a hydrogen accumulation block.

Title: Mathematic modelling in fields development decision making

Authors: T.A. Pospelova, S.V. Stepanov, A.V. Strekalov, S.V. Sokolov

Abstract: The monography reviews issues of interest related to the mathematical modelling as the grounds for making decisions regarding the hydrocarbon fields development. The authors compiled the book relying on their practical experience obtained during resolving multiple tasks in the field of engineering and supporting fields development. At the same time, the focus is made on the mathematical models alternative to the “traditional” 3D hydrodynamic modelling. Part of such models is developed by the authors themselves. Special attention is paid to the problem of mathematical modelling quality.
